Delete Your Account

Walk Via Francigena (com.pixelo.walktorome)

You can permanently delete your Walk Via Francigena account and associated data at any time. There is no charge, and you don't need to contact us.

From the app (recommended)

1. Open the Walk Via Francigena app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and the data below are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

By email

If you can't access the app, email hello@walkviafrancigena.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile, email, and login credentials.
• Your hikes, recorded tracks, stage completions, stats, and achievements.
• Your trip plans, custom routes, bookmarks, and emergency contacts.
• Your community content (buddy requests, posts, reviews, messages) and follows.

What may be retained

We may retain a limited set of records where we are legally required to (for example, booking and payment records for tax and accounting), and anonymised, aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you. Retained records are kept only as long as the law requires and are then deleted.
