Via Francigena Walk is designed and built by Pixelo Mobile Ltd, a small independent software studio registered in England & Wales. We're not a big travel corporation or a booking agency — just a compact team that loves long-distance trails and wants the digital side of the journey to be genuinely useful, honest, and free of the usual pressure to upsell.
An independent guide. Not affiliated with the European Association of the Via Francigena ways (AEVF) or with any official Via Francigena app.
Every map, guide and feature is built and maintained by the developer directly. The app is new and improving with every release, so if something's missing or could be better, we want to hear about it.
What's free
Reading the guides, planning your route and downloading the app are free. So is everything in the app, including the narrated audio guides and the offline maps.
We cover our costs through an optional marketplace, where verified local guides, transfer drivers and places to stay can list their services. We never sell your data. That keeps the platform independent and the free tools free.
