Walk Via Francigena includes community features — the Buddy Finder, reviews, community Q&A, and messages — where you can post your own content and interact with other hikers. This policy explains what is and isn't allowed, and how we keep the community safe. It applies in addition to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post, send, or share content that:
Every hiker can report or block another user directly from their profile, a buddy request, or a message thread. Reports are reviewed and acted on — content that breaches this policy is removed and repeat or serious offenders are suspended or removed. You will not see content or messages from anyone you have blocked.
We also apply automated filtering to buddy-request and message content at the point of posting as a first line of defence, but reporting remains the most effective way to flag a problem.
We act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users, typically within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where warranted, removing the user. By posting, you agree there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
To report abuse you can't action in-app, or for questions about this policy, email hello@walkviafrancigena.com.
